Overall, this proposal aims to enhance the quality of life for the village residents, increase traffic safety, and preserve historical heritage, while creating new public spaces for residents and visitors.
Central Location and Terrain: The area in the center of the village holds significant value due to its location and sloping terrain. The new urban structure aims to connect different parts of the village and improve transportation accessibility.
New Street: A new, winding street is proposed to link the municipal office with the area behind the church. This street will connect to an intersection and will run through the former distillery. The street will follow the rear sides of the gardens of existing farms, where new developments are planned, including family homes and a senior citizens' home.
Green Belt and Pond: An important concept is the accessibility of the pond and the creation of a green belt along it. This belt will be partly located on the dam of the pond, which is historically earthen.
Preservation of Historic Buildings: The proposal includes plans to preserve the historic buildings of the brewery and the two-nave hall, which stand on their original stone foundations. The rest of the buildings, except for the chimney behind the Sokolovna, will be demolished, and the area will be cleared.
Road Revision: A revision of the route of road III. class Dolany – Véska is proposed, which includes adjustments to the curve and improvements to traffic safety. A sidewalk will be designed to be gentler and safer for pedestrians.
Spatial Orientation: The dam of the pond will be newly visible in the street view, contributing to the overall integration of the pond into the public space of the village. The removal of the high metal fence that currently separates the pond from the former distillery site is planned, along with the creation of a public space oriented towards the pond's surface.
