The interior is based on a subtle color palette of muted tones. We wanted the apartment to be bright and pleasant. To be inhabited by the materials used, the colors, shapes, and textures. To minimize the somewhat low ceiling height of the apartment.
The 3+kk apartment, measuring 98 m² of living space with two large terraces, is located on the top recessed floor of a seven-story building. The apartment is illuminated from both sides. The investor placed complete trust in us. The interior included a complete redesign of the layout.
We enter the apartment through a hallway, which prominently features ash wood. The flooring consists of parquet laid in the direction of the view into the main living room, as well as on the wardrobes lining the path towards the bathrooms and bedrooms (here, a combination of patterned and fine veneers alternates to delineate the surfaces of the wardrobes and the simple wall cladding). Wood also appears in the bathroom, combined with subtle green tiles and flooring, as well as a white countertop with delicate colored flecks. Light is brought into the bathroom through a skylight.
The central space of the apartment is a trapezoidal living room that narrows, which includes the kitchen, dining area, and seating. The sides are clad in ash veneer with a striking grain (which diminishes the mentioned modest ceiling height), and in the center, it is divided by a slender metal structure intended for plants. The floor is parquet, again in ash, laid in a decorative herringbone pattern. The interior is based on a gentle color palette of muted tones. The wooden elements are complemented by an unusual tone of beige, which harmonizes with the color of the wood but distinctly stands out due to its monochromaticity and shaping (e.g., the kitchen island). The details are enhanced by handmade ceramic lighting fixtures, unique Czech seating furniture, and original graphic art.
